Entire Discography of DE Masters (19 titles) at 55% Off

Buying albums/tracks on Bandcamp also entitles you to stream the same tracks from a web browser or smartphone forever from the Bandcamp page or smarphone app with surprisingly good quality too.

About MQA – Hi-Res
My hi-res tracks gets unfolded up to 352.8k by an MQA DAC.  But the DAC isn’t required to play the hi-res files (SACD gurus think of the hybrid layer, it acts in a similar way).

Just be sure to choose any of the Bandcamp “Lossless” formats: FLAC, ALAC, WAV or AIF.  That’s it.  It plays no matter which you choose. You can also download any format anytime on titles you’ve purchased.

You can send these as gifts too…choose the “Send as Gift” link.

You can download (and stream forever)
CD and HRA (24 bit) Masters

Some of my discography has been online at my Bandcamp site for a few years now. http://davidelias.bandcamp.com

While there are *no DSD* source masters (DSF files) on BC, there are the very very good quality 24 bit / 88.2kHz downsample transfers of the DSD albums, as well other CD and 24/96 Masters of other non-DSD albums I’ve been self-producing since 1995.  Some of these exist as downloads only so you won’t have the plastic CD version of them.

Go here to see and hear the 12 albums available:
http://davidelias.bandcamp.com

Behind each album, there are full song previews (with pretty darn decent streaming quality, good job BC!).

There is also an option to grab the entire discography (all 12 albums). For MAY DAY there is a huge discount applied to the discography deal. It is currently 75% off or less than $50.

So go online there and listen to tracks — you can purchase the Discography download option from any album page — just scroll down and you’ll see it listed as shown above.

About Bandcamp Downloads…
With any album (or discography deal) you will also get unlimited streaming of the same tracks from computer or smartphone or whatever you use.  Here is a page for help with downloads from Bandcamp: https://bandcamp.com/help/downloading

Note: You will first need to be logged in to Bandcamp before you can download the files.

You can download in ANY format offered which covers all lossless PCM master quality formats (WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC).  Be sure to choose one of these formats for the best sound quality. Don’t worry, you can download more than one format for different uses or different players. Again pretty cool, good job BC.

Many of the albums included also offer other special things to download including PDFs with notes, photos, lyrics. There are also videos for download with some of the titles.

Spring is here. May Day! Enjoy the weather (whatever the weather).

Mahalo Nui,

David

Happy Holidaze. . .

Well it’s a thankful time as a reminder at least, if not more. I was up in the middle of the night again and found a way to put my entire Discography online at Bandcamp (BC) as a one-time purchase at a big discount.

You get the downloads in any or all of the BC digital formats: 16/24-bit FLAC (PCM lossless masters), ALAC (lossless) and MP3 (320k). Buying the downloads as my Full Digital Discography also gets you unlimited streaming of all these tracks anytime forever from the Bandcamp pages. They are arranged nicely by album and very easy to play continuously.

Hey you can also give it to someone as a gift!

Take a look:  http://davidelias.bandcamp.com

When you click the link, scroll down until you see “Full Digital Discography” and that’s it. It looks like this:

bc-discography-60-elias2

I have 12 albums and singles up there right now including “Crossing”, “The Window”, “Acoustic Trio”, “Slipper Sessions” (all 24/88.2 PCM downloads from the DSD masters) as well as my released CD masters of “Lost in the Green”, “Time Forgets”, “Half an Hour Away” and “The Blue Planet”. There are also some singles there you won’t find anywhere else!

The Discography now is exactly 60% off what the download albums cost individually. That’s the holidaze part. Reply to this message if you have questions I can help with.

Part 2 of this email is the Eclipse part which is a 1080p video I made of the lunar eclipse on October 8, 2014 from here on the Big Island (where there’s no light pollution…at all).

You can see all 3 minutes of this video (my attention span has now shrunk to be in the optimal hit single range of around 3 minutes or less) on YouTube at this link:

The instrumental soundtrack is my song “Inverness” from “The Blue Planet” CD. If you haven’t heard it you might not recognize me in there cause I just play a single keyboard/synth in a single take. But that’s me and as you can tell the music wasn’t written out.

Here’s a still shot I took of the Blood Moon that night:

Have a wonderful holiday
and time off everything that’s anything “out there” and a good time with everything that’s “in there” with any and all loved ones who “are there”.

Aloha!
